FOUNDER and EXCUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mrs. Rebekah Acquah, a native of West Africa Liberia, raised in the United States, is a devoted Christian, a wife to a loving husband, mother to wonderful children, youth leader, social worker, an author and holds a master's degree in clinical psychology. Her life’s journey has brought her to a place of gratitude.  Conceived during the second Liberian Civil War in West Africa, born to a malnourished teenage single mother. Mrs. Rebekah Acquah was given the opportunity in 2001 to migrate to the United States as a refugee due to the civil war in West Africa Liberia that took about 700,000 lives. Growing up in New Jersey young Mrs. Acquah struggled with poverty and mental illness. She experienced a life filled with many obstacles and trials that would have deterred any person from wanting to live a life of purpose. Yet, Mrs. Acquah attributes her survival to the grace of God and the prayers of her mother Ms. Lorpu Faijue , second Mother Ms. Evelyn Williams and a divine sisterhood of friends. Choosing to rededicate her life to Christ Jesus at age 19, she sought to understand the importance of a healthy human being, spiritual health, mental health, emotional health, and physical health

No matter the season in Mrs. Acquah life two things has been constant her faith and gaining an opportunity of hope, and a future through education. This is the opportunity she vows to give back to children in the most vulnerable situations as she once were. Mrs. Acquah have returned to Liberia 3 times prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic, her first being August 2018. Returning back was through the help of Change Agent Network Non-profit organization , who presented the opportunity.  She has always wanted to return back to her birth country, meanwhile, her biggest concern was safety and Change Agent Network was able to assist in relieving that concern. After her first trip to Liberia, it was laid on her heart to give her services, which then birthed the Non-profit Organization Eve’s Grace Scholastic Innovation (EGSI).  As the founder of Eve’s Grace Scholastic Innovation Mrs. Acquah has both the academic accolades, experience and most importantly the HEART. We are confident that with God as the center of Mrs. Acquah leadership, her dedication towards bettering the lives of children and families and the work that has already been established, Eve’s Grace Scholastic Innovation will carry on as a unique contributing entity to society and the world.

Mrs. Acquah strives to encourage others that this could not have happened without the help of others, therefore she is dedicated to sharing this journey of bettering society in Liberia and abroad with the many change makers and destiny helpers she has encountered and will continue to encounter. We at Eve’s Grace Scholastic Innovation Inc. look forward to the partnership and fellowship.

GOD IS INVOLVED

ANY IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD.

  • The Call is made : The answer was YES!

Eve's Grace Scholastic Innovation is named in honor of our founder Rebekah Acquah's aunt Ms. Evelyn Williams. Ms. Evelyn has played a monumental role in Rebekah's life in the U.S.A, offering her a home and a loving embrace when others turned their backs. Ms. Evelyn's care extended beyond Rebekah; she has been a nurturing presence for countless children and people in the community. She embodies the roles of a mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to anyone in need of a helping hand. Despite her limited physical resources, Ms. Evelyn gives generously because she believes her spiritual wealth is boundless.

Ms. Evelyn Williams said “yes” to the call to take her niece into her home in 2006 , in 2018 her niece Rebekah said “yes” to help over 150 children and counting. One choice, many lives. The confirmation of the name "Eve's Grace" came to Mrs. Acquah through a meaningful encounter with scripture. While reading Genesis 3:20, where Adam named his wife “Eve” because she would become the mother of all children, and despite the shortcoming of Eve, salvation introduced us to Grace, God’s grace and love for humankind. Mrs. Acquah felt a profound connection. This verse resonated deeply as the organization is dedicated to mentoring the children of Liberia and potentially children worldwide. The verse’s significance played a crucial role in the naming of the organization, symbolizing the nurturing and inclusive spirit that Eve's Grace aims to embody.
