Supporting Students and Promoting Health in Grand Gedeh County
In 2019, the Eve’s Grace Scholastic Innovation team took a proactive step to support students in Grand Gedeh County amidst the global challenges of COVID-19. Our team distributed nose masks to 12th-grade students preparing for their national mock exams ahead of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), scheduled for September 10, 2021.
Understanding the critical need to keep students safe during this period, we didn’t just stop at providing protective gear. Our team also conducted educational sessions to raise awareness about simple yet effective precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These sessions covered important safety tips, including:
Practicing physical distancing.
Wearing masks properly.
Ensuring proper ventilation in rooms.
Avoiding crowded places.
Keeping hands clean through regular washing or sanitizing.
Coughing or sneezing into a bent elbow or tissue.
This initiative was more than just a response to a health crisis—it was a testament to our commitment to the well-being and success of Liberia’s future leaders. The safety and preparedness of these students remained our top priority as they navigated the pressures of exam preparation during such uncertain times.
Thanks to our dedicated team in Grand Gedeh, we were able to make a meaningful difference. Your efforts reflect the spirit of unity and resilience that defines our mission.
Together, we will defeat COVID-19 and continue to empower our youth for a brighter future.
